Installation

If you install LaptopConfig using one of the pre-packaged archives, it is simple enough:

Debian users will type as root in the console:

# dpkg -i ltpconf_0.5-1_i386.deb


Users of RPM-based distributions as Fedora, Suse or Mandrake simply type on the console as root:

# rpm -i ltpconf-0.5-1.i386.rpm


LaptopConfig depends on Trolltechs QT-library. In most cases, it should be already installed on your system. If not, install it with your distributions package tool or get it at Trolltechs website.
